Dog Days was one of my earliest games, so it's extremely basic and the writing is also a little rough.

It's a short game where you are cursed by a witch to slowly transform into a dog, with three endings of how things turn out.

Originally the game was a bit more involved as it was written as a full interactive fiction (of the type where you have to type "go north", "look tree", "get ye flask"). You had to play it with a tool like Gargoyle. Back then we didn't have Twine!

I converted it into a Twine CYOA a few years later, which also made it a lot easier and shorter. This wasn't my first ever released CYOA game, but it was one of only two anyone seemed to remember. Honestly I'd like to make a proper old school IF again some day...maybe if I can find a way for itch to host them.

Could you tell me more? I can probably fix it

It's saying "null" isn't valid Harlowe Syntax for the inside of a macro call

Congrats for posting almost all your old games!  ;>3

Also, wait, 3 Endings? I've played this a lot before and I always thought there were only 2. The Accept/Refuse Endings at the end.

Could ya give a hint for how to get that 3rd ending please?  :>3

Oh it's barely a real ending, just if you refuse to get adopted you get a short bad ending where you stay in the pound and sulk
